Set Up:

Just plug the snap-on cord into the ground socket of a wall electrical outlet. This will allow the slight negative electrical charge from the earth to flow through the cord and onto the conductive leather surface of the earthing mat so that you can enjoy the benefits of grounding!

Cleaning Instructions:

Wipe down the outside of your product using a damp cloth mixed with a small amount of mild household soap.
Use a clean, damp cloth to thoroughly wipe away the soap. (This prevents buildup which blocks conductivity.)
Let your product air dry.

Important: Never use a cleaning agent containing bleach, disinfectants, oils, or whitening agents as they can ruin the conductivity of your grounding product. Never put your product in the washing machine or dryer

I started sleeping with this mat under my feet each night on a Monday with no sense of if it was working or not. I did not buy it to address any chronic pain issue, so I did not have a specific baseline to show improvement from. Then on Saturday my husband and I spent almost the whole day doing yard work to "winterize" the lawn and garden. We both did a lot of digging, which is not a typical activity for either of us.
